About the weather part: I have worked with observations and with models (both as black boxes and "under the hood") for various military and university units and for private institutes as a researcher, instructor, independent contractor and operational forecaster. So I have lots of experience in saying, "I was wrong" and "We don't know." I live in Tucson. I grew up in Southwest Pennsylvania.
